Do no evil was one of the axis of evil like terms coined for companies that are successful and those who crush smaller companies by copying what they were able to do successfully. I will try to do another post on how the G gods are doing that.
But, this post is about how facebook wants to show twitter some love. I have no problem with companies getting inspired but this is for those MSFT haters that picked up any every little thing that they did that appeared like APPL or Netscape was capable of doing. 
how does this sound .. ‘everybody is doing it .. why can’t i’ . How do big companies- yeah i am calling FB big relative to twitter – make it harder for new innovators a) make things free – using OPM (other ppls money) b) make technology closed (itunes – palm pre for example) wasnt msft abused/accused for doing this? c) copy their technology – make it your feature.
Short lived are the innovations when success finds them and threatens someone else’s turf.
